Gameplay was made up of word, logic, observation, teamwork, searching, physical and codebreaking. There is one excellent set piece that really, REALLY wowed us!Īn open game, that had a nice mix of puzzles, all centered around finding the neccesary components to repair the bus. There are a couple of steps to get into the room, but once in it is a flat surface. The lighting was perfectly atmospheric, again, used subtly to enhance the theme and immersion, it was never a problem. The space itself isn’t HUGE (yet it’s not small either) a group of 6 may have to shimmy past each other, but you could easily spead out in the entire area, but the intricate and creative use of space meant this was never a problem, and you will be so wowed with the scenery and set design you wont even notice having to “excuse me” past people. There was an excellent use of sound, which just added to the immersion and really captured your imagination into really beliving that you were stranded in the middle of Jurassic Dino-Park. The game is beautifully detailed, with the space being used fantasticlly and the attention to detail is second to none, it has details that would be easily missed, but make SUCH a difference to the immersion and world building. There is no other word for it, the most real, authentic setting for a game theme on a bus would be a bus… and dino deadlock achieved that. Disaster strikes and you have just 60 minutes to escape.”ĭino Deadlock looked AMAZING.
